The 14th Annual Staten Ireland Irish Fair will be held on Saturday June 9th & Sunday June 10th, 2012 at 777 Seaview Ave and Fr. Capodanno Blvd, South Beach, Staten Island.
The Annual Staten "Ireland" Irish Festival has become more successful each year with over 6,000 fairgoers passing through its gates in anticipation of festival fun. There is something for everyone at the Festival including live local & international Irish music, a huge array of refreshments, a 40 vendor "tinker" shopping village which provides a huge array of Irish imports and gifts and a play center for the children. Also, we present some of the best vendor food on the East Coast, with many of the food vendors traveling from the Jersey Shore and Hunter Mountain.
Once again, we will present some of the hottest Irish Fair talent with a very impressive music lineup. Our Fair Hostess, Fiona Molloy, a guitar troubadour in her own right who has been on the music scene for over 35 years, is presenting performers from all over the globe. Go to the Entertainers Page as well as the Schedule Page to learn about all the artists who will play our three stages at this, the 14th Annual Staten Ireland Irish Fair.
Saturday at Noon the Staten Island Pipes and Drums, one of five pipe bands participating in the Pipe and Drum Tatoo on Sunday, will kick off the opening ceremonies to begin the fair. The fair runs all day Saturday from 12 noon to 8pm. Sunday the gates open at 10:00 for those wanting to attend the traditional Irish High Mass and the festival will begin immediately following the High Mass with The Pipe and Drum Tatoo.
Admission is $10 at the gate or $8 advance purchase. Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Please see the Admission Page to find out where you may purchase advance tickets and we do hope you patronize these Fair Friends.
